The Bishop's Palace in Sümeg, Hungary

The Bishop's Palace in Sümeg, Hungary
The Bishop's Palace, built between 1748 and 1755, is a Baroque-style palace in the town of Sümeg in Veszprém County, an outstanding work of Hungarian Baroque architecture. Between 1755 and 1775 it was the residence of the bishops of Veszprém. Built in a traditional provincial Baroque style, its original architectural and painting values were outstanding. Now, in the fall of 2021, the renovated palace was handed over. The inner courtyard offers a unique view, with the Sümeg Castle in the background.
